The elder trees - remnants of a devastating clearcut before our time on the land - have found peace in the past few years. By releasing their "arboreal pain," new growth emerges to re-energize the land. It is our vision to continue, gently and respectfully, without machinery, working with the land as our partner in an effort to create mutual healing spaces.

The NoRush brook (above) brings a welcome song and coolness to the summer afternoon. Below: The waterfall, sunny wind chimes and, adorning the land with colour are "Nature's Red Jewels."

The Lady's Slipper, below left, is not to be picked. It won't regenerate unless its blossom cycles through.
